Is it completely formaldehyde-free? Yes. Brazilian Blowout FREE is formulated without formaldehyde, methylene glycol, formalin, or any other formaldehyde derivatives.
How does it smooth hair without chemicals? It uses a patent-pending bonding system that temporarily stretches and realigns disulfide and weaker keratin bonds without breaking or permanently cutting them.
How long do results last? Up to 12 weeks if properly maintained with official Brazilian Blowout aftercare products. The treatment is cumulative, meaning results improve with repeated applications.
Is there a post-treatment wait period? No. Clients can immediately wash hair, exercise, swim, or tie it up into a ponytail without risking lines or ruining the shape.

Hair Compatibility & Styling FAQ

Can it be used on chemically relaxed hair? No. Clients transitioning from relaxers must wait at least 2 months, and the hair must be thoroughly assessed for health first.
Can it be performed on permed hair? Yes, but the client must wait at least 2 months following a perm. A strand test is highly recommended.
Can it be used over henna dye? Yes. However, be aware that the hair may require recoloring afterward due to the size and stability of natural henna dye molecules.
Can I color hair the same day? Yes. Since it is an off-scalp treatment, root color or all-over permanent hair color should be applied right before the treatment on the same day to help lock in color
